Our History

CDG was born out of the motorsports marketing agency best known for managing four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jeff Gordon’s public relations program, and as the largest corporate hospitality provider in NASCAR for DuPont and other major corporations for over two decades. It was when Charlotte announced that it had won the bid as the host city for the NASCAR Hall of Fame, that a niche by which to enter the event, meeting and destination management market opened up for a company exploring avenues for diversification.

 

Providing turnkey event, public relations and destination management services for celebrity athletes and Fortune 500 companies with significant budgets for NASCAR sponsorships of celebrity drivers allowed us to hone our ability to work at the highest levels, cater to every detail and draw accolades from even the most discriminating clients.

 

We began forming relationships at the highest levels of our community and aggressively marketing our brand in 2007 and were off and running with major convention business in 2008.

 

Since, we have grown to be one of the leading corporate meeting, event and destination management companies in the greater Charlotte area. The variety and significance of meetings and events we have created or enhanced, positions CDG to provide comprehensive services and a higher standard for meetings and events both big and small.
